Zoom Out is a Decepticon Builder from the Beast Wars: Uprising portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Long ago, Zoom Out was once a Decepticon soldier in the Great War. Now his body is barely functional, and the only source of fulfillment he can get is watching his descendents the Predacons fight to the death against Maximals in the rigged Games.

Beast Wars: Uprising

[edit]

Zoom Out and Slog were stationed in the offices of the Gladiatorial Administration Bureau in the Cyclonus Memorial Tower. When Lio Convoy walked past them on his way to speak to his superior, Zoom Out paid no attention to Lio Convoy though Slog gave the Maximal a hateful glower. At a later point he contacted Eject to let him know that Lio Convoy had come by again for another visit. Broken Windshields

Zoom Out reported to Eject when the infected Micromasters-turned-Vehicons came on the air during the Resistance's televised Games out of Protihex. Derailment

  • Zoom Out 25X (Real Gear Robots, 2007)
    • Takara ID number: MD-13
Zoom Out was repurposed from Transformers Zoom Out 25X
Part of the second wave of Transformers Real Gear Robots, Zoom Out 25X transforms into a (non-functional) digital camcorder. He is designed so you can look through his viewfinder and out the camera lens, but the images will be very small and blurry. Still, neat!
His flip-out viewscreen, which becomes a winged backpack in robot mode, has different stickers between the Hasbro and Takara releases. In the Hasbro version, Cybertron Override is on-screen, while the Takara version, oddly, has a picture of live-action Megatron instead.
