Broadside loves the dark. And he's very good at operating in the dark, with a cruel streak that has certainly helped the Night Attack Mini-Con Team earn its grim reputation (and string of "dead or alive" warrants on numerous planets). But he's endlessly spouting off what he believes are creepy warnings about the darkness swallowing victims and the endless night and the like that some have a very hard time taking seriously, or just find outright pretentious and annoying.

Broadside was among a few of the Mini-Cons who striked in order to let the human children join the Autobots on their journey into space. Later, he and the other Mini-Cons all boarded the Axalon, and aided in the battle against the Decepticons. Depart

This mold was also used to make Cybertron Steamhammer. In Japan, this coloration was used as the "Night Attack" version of Knock Out, not as a new character.
