Certain Cybertronians belong to a '''house''', designated by an additional name appended after a bot's given name. Being of the same house will often be an indication that the individuals are spark-brothers, but not always. It is unknown if being a member of a house conveys any special social privilege. The position of [[Prime (rank)|Prime]] takes the same traditional place of a house name, and presumably takes precedence over an individual's former house in the case of them being elevated to primacy.

After a case of mistaken identity, Minimus Ambus conceded that though he was also a member of the House of Ambus, the crew of the ''[[Lost Light]]'' were looking for his spark-brother, Dominus Ambus.
