Originally, the song was written to commemorate [[BotCon 1997]], and was given the title "'''Ground Zero (BotCon Theme)'''". However, as [[BotCon]] was not officially sanctioned by [[Hasbro]] at the time, the lyrics actively avoided using the term "[[trademark|Transformers]]" (and other such lawyer bait), and instead generically described a battle between "robots who fight in disguise".

Ten years later, while [[Transformers (2007)|the first live-action movie]] was in production, Bush rewrote "Ground Zero" to be less ambiguous in its subject matter and re-recorded the song under its current name together with an updated version of "[[The Touch]]" in a bid to have them included on [[Transformers: The Album|the movie's soundtrack]]. That plan didn't work out, but "Till All Are One" finally received the official approval of Hasbro in [[2010]] when it was featured in the ''[[Transformers: War for Cybertron|War for Cybertron]]'' video game. Oh, happy day.
