*Placing the NTV news anchor in continuity is a little fraught. She appears in "The Special Teams Have Arrived" which itself is a fairly straightforward tale of a clash between the [[Special Teams]] billed as a preview of "[[Second Generation!]]". However, the battle as depicted in issue #64 is revealed to be a [[Matrix of Leadership|Matrix]]-induced vision shared by [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] and [[Buster Witwicky (G1)|Buster Witwicky]] that omits some aspects of "The Special Teams Have Arrived" entirely—including the NTV report. Even charitably assuming that the report "happened" off-panel during the vision, it's not clear whether Optimus and Buster were witnessing actual events that would occur in the future or if the Matrix was just letting them know it would be a good idea to build some combiners.
