[edit]The NTV anchor appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
When a landslide caused by heavy rains threatened Pullen Power Plant, causing the area to be evacuated, NTV news broadcast the story. The Special Teams Have Arrived

[edit]- Placing the NTV news anchor in continuity is a little fraught. She appears in "The Special Teams Have Arrived" which itself is a fairly straightforward tale of a clash between the Special Teams billed as a preview of "Second Generation!". However, the battle as depicted in issue #64 is revealed to be a Matrix-induced vision shared by Optimus Prime and Buster Witwicky that omits some aspects of "The Special Teams Have Arrived" entirely—including the NTV report. Even charitably assuming that the report "happened" off-panel during the vision, it's not clear whether Optimus and Buster were witnessing actual events that would occur in the future or if the Matrix was just letting them know it would be a good idea to build some combiners.
- She looks a bit like Joy Meadows, but at the time Joy was working for LCTV as seen emblazoned on the side of her van in "Dinobot Hunt!" and "In the National Interest".
