The Inhumanoids are increadibly powerful ancient monsters that have long been inprissoned beneath the [[Earth]]. Five known '''Inhumanoids''' exist: Metlar, Tendril, D-Compose, Sslither, and Gargoyle. The Inhumanoids were caged below the Earth long ago by the elemental [[Mutores]]. The team of human explorers and adventurers known as Earth Corps formed to combat the creatures.



== Cartoon ==

The Inhumanoids was a [[Hasbro]] toyline in the 1980s. As with other shows of the time [[Sunbow]] produced an animated Inhumanoids show. A number of characters crossing over between these Hasbro/Sunbow shows (Transformers, [[G.I. Joe (team)|G.I. Joe]], [[Jem and the Holograms]], and Inhumanoids) have led many fans to consider them as all taking place in one unified Sunbow cartoon universe.

Unbeknownst to anyone outside the band they are aided in their shows by a powerful computer known as Synergy that can project realistic 3-Dimensional holograms. The leader of the band Jerrica Benton used a set of special trasnmitter earings to stay in contact with Synergy and to maintain a secret identity as the rock star Jem via projected holograms. Jem and the Holograms were rivals of the trouble-making punk girl band The Misfits.
