After the [[Autobot]]s captured [[Soundwave (ROTF)|Soundwave]], [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]], [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] and [[Sideswipe (ROTF)|Sideswipe]] began preparing the Odessa base to contain the [[Decepticon]]. Prime was mostly there because he didn't want to face [[William Lennox|Lennox]] over the fact they'd bypassed official channels in preparing the base. News later came through that the plane Soundwave was on had crashed, and Lennox was even less impressed. {{storylink|Nefarious issue 3|Nefarious #3}} While Lennox and Optimus were still reflecting on their situation, Odessa base received a distress call from [[Theodore Galloway]], who was under attack by an [[Ransack (ROTF)|unidentified Decepticon]].
