:Ah, Speng? You don't have to add a series title after a profile's name if the name has never been used by another character. That's why people move some of the pages you make, like Predaking, Tigerhawk, etc - there aren't any other guys with those names, so the tagging is redundant.

:Also, the point of the italics at the opening section... it's supposed to be a one-sentence thing about what continuity they're in (like "so-and-so is a (faction) during the (whatever)"). The descrptive part after that (where the name gets bolded) is not italicized.

I'm happy someone else is interested in seiyu.  Most of the Transformers actors were listed individually in the [http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/4813010946/ Transformers: Generations] book.  Some of the Laserdiscs and DVD sets also had cast info.  Although sometimes some info condradicts other sources.  The [http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/4861760364/ First Series Complete] lists many of The Rebirth dub actors (which I haven't been putting in here for the most part, so not to confuse people).  The [http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/4902314282/ Micron Legend Year Book] lists virtually ''every'' character and voice from the series.

As for dubs of American movies, you might try [http://www.tora-2.com/index.html tora-2.com]. Hey, Speng? Did you see [[Talk:Matrix_of_Leadership#Fire_Convoy|this discussion]] we had on Japanese Matrices? Given that both Lio Convoy and Fire Convoy specifically had an "Energon Matrix", I'm wondering if that's what Primal and Big Convoy were also supposed to have... I don't have any good Neo-specific books, though, and Big Convoy's instructions only call his device a "Matrix" (with no qualifiers). I DO have a book that's basically Cine-Manga of the BW2nd movie... maybe that would specify what Primal's is.

(Also, I continue to doubt the existence of the "Hyper Convoy" thing beyond it being something Star Upper once called himself.)

Personally, the name "Leadership Matrix" never really sat well with me, as it was just sorta "made-up" as a means to differentiate it from the Matrix of Leadership.  I wouldn't object to Leadership Matrix being changed to "Energon Matrix", since that's the name that's most commonly seen.

As for Hyper Convoy, that I really know little on, as I haven't had the pleasure of reading the Neo manga.  I wrote the article-itself based on what I was told happened in the Neo manga. The Predacon ship in Beast Wars II has the incredibly unfortunate title of "Galvaburg II" - as in Hindenburg, one assumes. Which really makes one wonder what happened to the "Galvaburg I", and why Galvatron would decide to use that name ''again''.

==Primitives?==

Do we need to tag all of those characters as such?  It's pretty continuity-specific, which bugs me though maybe also applies to some existing tags.  But it also is a really arbitrary descriptor.  The "Primitives" in COTP were basically just the TFs with animal altmodes, and as such this category would include only those Transformers who existed at the time AND were included in the episode.  This makes for quite a few characters who SHOULD fit in the category but arbitrarily won't, and even more so makes for a category that... basically means nothing.

:That's fine.  We've been discussing it in a thread over at the Allspark forums and a few good points have been brought up.  For instance, if we remove all the Japanese titles that translate to being the same as the English one, but leave the Japanese titles for episodes where they translate differently, we'll end up looking like we have an incomplete record of foreign episode titles, rather than just omitting ones that aren't different enough.  We could try and adjust things, like moving foreign titles down from the top of each article and into their own section, or perhaps something else. It's possible that the Japanese DVDs may include the information in liner notes or what have you, but you'll have to hook up with someone who owns them (Buster Darkwings at the Allspark does, I believe). Alright.  Holy crap.  This is it, McFeely!  I totally glossed over the page as nothing but a recap of Victory when it was a completely original story AND the one mentioned in the Kiss Player timeline (how freakin obscure can you get?).  While the word "resurrected" isn't used, Deathsaurus is indeed referred to as the "Dark Emperor" ("Ankokutaitei").  And while Energon Z is not mentioned specifically, Deathsaurus DOES lead an attack on the Micro Zone which, presumably, contained Energon Z as it did in the Zone OVA.

Apparently, beginning with the Telemocha release of TM-11 Tigatron, they decided to cross-promote the Beast Wars Telemocha series with the FAB series, in print ads and on toy packaging.  It sounds like this was done to give the toys some additional play value and to encourage kids, hungry for the Movie toys, to pick up those weird animal Transformers from ten years ago that they'd never heard of.  The "fiction" was just a single packaging blurb, reproduced (or perhaps summarized) in the last sentence of that paragraph.  It reads: "The story is that on the stage of the Beast Wars (Planet Energoa), a mysterious army of vehicles (Movie characters) have crossed from beyond space-time and attacked, beginning a battle between animals and vehicles."

I based the episode order on the disc/case numbers but I don't know if that's the correct way to do it. The numbering of the discs/cases doesn't follow that of the figures, the discs that come with the Ultras have two numbers on them, and numbers 16-19 are skipped entirely. They're really hard to translate because the scans are so poor the characters are hard to make out (and that's just for the strips; you can ''forget'' about the interviews and articles).  For all the ones I've done, I had to zoom in with photoshop and basically stare at the blotch of ink until I could figure it out by context and with a kanji fastfinder for visual reference the furigana is pretty much illegible).  More work for a one page strip than a ten page comic!  I could try and get back on the horse, though. Googling the kanji for Comic Bom Bom along with the number 1986 netted me a number of results where people were selling issues of Comic Bom Bom. :The translation on the TFArchive pages are all I know for that material.  I think, ''think'', the "ambassador" and "friend" things didn't come from the text-itself, but from the ooooooold TFCyberbon site where the image was originally hosted, in one of Hydra's "reviews" of the page.  He said something like "You can really feel for Megatron as he cradles his dead friend in his arms".  Something like that and people may have gotten that "review" confused with an actual "translation".
::And "Reproganmar" thing reads in Japanese, "吸熱植物リプロガンマー" (kyuunetsu shokubutsu ripuroganmaa).  I originally translated that first part as "Fever Vegetation" but in retrospect that's an incomplete translation.  "Heat-sucking Vegetation" would be better (吸 is "to suck/inhale" while 熱 is both "fever" and "temperature").
