Millions of years later, after the supposed end of the war, the leader of the [[Decepticon Justice Division]] [[Tarn (DJD)|Tarn]] quoted a passage from ''Towards Peace'' explaining that the war could not end until Megatron laid down his weapon, before executing the traitorous [[Black Shadow (Victory)|Black Shadow]]. {{storylink|Rules of Disengagement (issue)|Rules of Disengagement}}

A postwar edition of ''Towards Peace'' was released, amended with footage of Megatron's speech from his trial at the [[Raskol Arena]] on [[Moonbase Two|Luna 2]] where he renounced Decepticon principles and ordered the remaining Decepticons to stand down. Following his being forced into sobriety at Megatron's hands, [[Trailbreaker (G1)|Trailcutter]] began reading this edition, though he had barely gotten past the [[Messatine]] years before he was killed by [[Kaon (DJD)|Kaon]] of the Decepticon Justice Division. Protesting that the war was over, Trailcutter's allies [[First Aid (G1)|First Aid]] and [[Bluestreak (G1)|Bluestreak]] pointed to his copy of ''Towards Peace'' as proof that Megatron had indeed laid down his weapon, so Kaon took it back to the D.J.D. for further examination. {{storylink|Births, Deaths, and Interventions}}
