The peacekeeping abilities of the World Watchers were put to the test when the planet Nebulos was visited by Autobots. Galen wished to talk with the Autobots, but an influential member of the Council of Peers, Lord Zarak, preferred to take no chances; he wanted to strike swiftly and destroy the Autobots completely, just to be sure. In order to manufacture an excuse to attack the Autobots, Lord Zarak made it seem like one of the visitors intentionally put a crowd of Nebulans in danger. In response, Galen retrieved the Nebulans' weapons from storage and attacked. Ring of Hate!

In his position as leader of the World Watchers, Galen continued to work for peace and eventually allied himself with the Autobots after Decepticons arrived. Broken Glass! A delegation of observers were tasked by the Council of Peers to keep an eye on what Galen was up to with his alliance with the Autobots. In one battle, the delegation of observers were kidnapped by Decepticons and hypnotized by Mindwipe. They were rescued by Galen and the Autobots, but because of the hypnosis, they believed that Galen was attacking them and that Lord Zarak had saved them. Love and Steel! After that, Galen and his supporters were considered criminals. When he got the chance, Galen led the Autobots away from Nebulos, knowing that Lord Zarak and the Decepticons would follow. Galen succeeded in bringing peace back to Nebulos, but only by leaving it himself. Brothers in Armor!!

Beast Wars: Uprising

[edit]

As part of an infiltration protocol campaign supervised by Zarak, covert Decepticon interference turned the Hive Nations against the World Watcher Alliance. When the arrival of humans escalated the conflict by revealing Cybertronian involvement in Nebulan geopolitics, the cold war went hot and the Autobots threw their lot in with the World Watchers. Presumably, the World Watchers or its members did not survive the Scouring of Nebulos that rendered their planet uninhabitable. A Brush With Infamy–Prologue
