When signs of energon were detected by the Ark on an uncharted alien world, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Grimlock took a shuttle to the planet to investigate. At first they found no energon, but tentacled aliens found them, pulling Grimlock into a crevasse, where Bumblebee and Optimus soon joined him after a cave-in, whereupon they were assaulted by the aliens' tentacled appendages.
