Category: Movie Decepticons
[edit]"Category: Movie Decepticons" is for Decepticon characters introduced in the 2007 movie and the toyline and merchandise released alongside it. It is NOT for all Decepticon characters in the larger "Movie-verse". That's what "Category: Live-action-film-series Decepticons]] is for. There are sub-categories for each individual film, but some characters were introduced as being in that universe but not explicitly tied to any one film (or its toyline and merchandising). Repurposing
[edit]Repurposing is when a character in fiction looks the same as another character's (or version of the same character) toy. Blast Off in the Cloud comic had a body that was drawn and colored after the FOC toy, so the FOC toy was repurposed as G1 Blast Off by the Cloud comic. --notirishman (talk) 20:46, 19 September 2018 (EDT)

Moving pages
[edit]What the heck? Have you never observed how pages get moved on this wiki? You can't just manually transfer all the code to another page name; that obfuscates the editing history that the wiki preserves by policy. - It is arguably a desirable move, but it has to be done in accordance with wiki policy to preserve the editing record. And it most likely won't hurt you to ask everybody, via the community portal, before you attempt a major change that widely affects something on the wiki. S.H.I.E.L.D. [edit]Please make sure you follow the guidelines when uploading new images. Specifically, please try to make sure any files uploaded are 150KB or less in size. [edit]To quote the category itself: "For the purposes of this category, 'if the character's only other fictional appearances besides the live-action films themselves is the comic or novel adaptations of the films, they also belong in this category." [edit]Hey, maybe don't add stubs for Trial of Megatron to the Animated character pages. When making character pages, we generally don't cover fiction that was never officially released, as they only qualify as Apocrypha and Pseudocanon at best. Hence why there's no mention of Dark Glass on Rattrap's page, for example.
