The name or term "Transformers" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Transformers (disambiguation).
2014 packaging left, 2015 packaging right.

Transformers is a toy line launched in 2014. The toys are mostly re-releases or redecos of older toys in packaging that strongly resembles the packaging design for the concurrently released Age of Extinction line (but lacking the actual Age of Extinction logo) for the 2014 releases. The 2015 Legion figures had their packaging slightly redesigned to resemble the packaging design of the concurrently released Generations Combiner Wars line, but replacing the name "Generations" with a more generic "authentic Transformers" disclaimer. Most of the toys are exclusives at least as far as the United States market is concerned. On Hasbro's website, the figures are alternatively identified as "Classic" (a term also used for the Legion Class figures by various international online retailers) or "Generation One".

Toys

Legion Class

[edit]
Wave 1
Wave 2
Wave 3
The first wave was available exclusively at market six stores such as Family Dollar and Dollar General in the United States. The second wave has thus far been found at Big Lots, Family Dollar and Dollar General stores, whereas the third wave has thus far been found at Fred's, Gordmans, Dollar General and Family Dollar. In Hasbro's Asian markets, Australia and Europe, the figures were available at general retail, although for some reason the European release of wave 2 is lacking Megatron.

Titan Warriors

[edit]
These figures were previously available in a five-pack (with Grimlock) as a Hasbro Toy Shop originally sold at San Diego Comic-Con 2013. These single-released figures are officially the second wave in a multi-brand assortment, with the first wave having been released as part of the Transformers: Prime line's Beast Hunters subline imprint.

Multi-packs

[edit]
The Dinobots set was available as a Hasbro Toy Shop exclusive and originally sold at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. The Protectobots sets were released as Toys"R"Us exclusives in various Asian Hasbro markets. In the United States, they were officially Amazon exclusives, but were later also stocked by other online retailers such as BigBadToyStore for a hefty markup.
