[edit]Shortly after arriving on the Earth of his dimension, Beet-Chit/Kuwagatrer's forces ran into a battle with human forces, which culminated in Kuwagatrer being lost and Beet-Chit's forces being shunted onto the Cybertron of another universe. In the lower levels of Axiom Nexus, Beet-Chit eventually encountered a lost Zaptrap drone. Noting Zaptrap's similarity to his Kuwagatrer unit, Beet-Chit adopted the Zaptrap as his new mech. Notes
[edit]
- Kuwagatrer is a 1983 Diaclone toy which was redecoed as Generation 1 Shrapnel. Years later, Takara would redeco Shrapnel in Kuwagatrer's colors as Collector's Edition Zaptrap. Fun Publications would also do the same for Generations Skrapnel to make a Timelines Zaptrap.
- Kuwagatrer's name is a play on kuwagata (鍬形), the Japanese term for "stag beetle".
