[edit]In the story of the video game, Ninja Gladiator, Metlar was one of the Inhumanoids released by Big Boss and among the enemies that the gathered Ninja Gladiators had to defeat. Metlar betrayed Big Boss, leading to the human joining the fight against the Inhumanoids. The AllSpark Almanac II

- The name for Metlar's domain in Inhumanoids was later reused for the Infernac Universe in Legacy.
- Metlar was meant to appear in G.I. Joe vol. 5 #9, but Hasbro's discovery that they no longer held the rights to the Inhumanoids characters forced him to be swapped out for a Fatal Fluffy late in production.
