- Microcons are Decepticons from the Revenge of the Fallen portion of the live-action film series.
The microcons are swarms of little robots shaped like ball bearings, which unfold to reveal the robot hidden inside.

After Soundwave discovered the location of AllSpark shard needed to resurrect Megatron, he deployed Ravage to the island of Diego Garcia where the human-Autobot alliance NEST was based. Ravage infiltrated the base's defenses and released the microcons into the ventilation system of the chamber where the AllSpark fragment was held. The ball bearings coalesced into Reedman and proceed to steal the fragment, fight off security and escape with Ravage. Revenge of the Fallen
