Wedge Shape is a Mini-Con of variable allegiance from the Generation 1 and Unicron Trilogy continuity families.

Wedge Shape (ウェッジシェイプ Wejji Sheipu) is a Predacon turned Maximal-aligned Mini-Con. She is large and contains multitudes.

She's not actually wedge-shaped. Nor, for that matter, does she at all resemble Wedge.

In Aurex 1104.30-JH Zeta, Wedge Shape was one of the unfortunate Mini-Cons captured and reprogrammed by the time-travelling Megatron's Predacons. She had the last laugh though: Megatron's reprogramming via Servility Program failed on her, and she fled to the Maximals with many of his base's codes. This allowed the Maximals to storm the place, rescue the Minis, and drive out the Preds. This single victory almost decided the Beast Wars in favor of the Maximals. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/13

Beast Wars: Uprising

With a technohawk beast mode, Wedge Shape flew for the Maximal Nation after they seceded from the Builders' domain. When the Vehicon Apocalypse began, she guarded the Nation's airspace fiercely against possible infestation. Wedge Shape and her wing-mech Nightglider encountered the Star Dasher as it entered Maximal territory. After confirming Ser-Ket and her posse were clean, they were allowed to land. Derailment

A redeco of the Classics Mini-Con Dreadwing, Wedge Shape transforms into a red mechanical eagle.
Wedge Shape was an exclusive to "BIC Camera" stores in Japan as a giveaway with a purchase of any 2007 Transformers movie toy. She is considered one of the harder-to-get promotional Mini-Cons, as few knew she even existed at the time she was offered.
This mold was also used to make Shattered Glass Divebomb and Universe Longview.

  • "Wedge Shape" likely refers to the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Wedge-tailed Eagle|{{#if:wedge-tailed eagle|wedge-tailed eagle|Wedge-tailed Eagle}}]] whose distinctive tail is wedge-shaped.
  • While Wedge Shape's toy is branded with a Maximal logo, her instructions claim her to be a Predacon. The Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime used that for her backstory.
  • Until Ask Vector Prime in 2015, Wedge Shape had no official gender.
