[edit]Abbey Chase was hired to steal a microdot (that would supposedly shake the world to its very foundations) hidden in a painting at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. She shot up a lot of art before arriving at the painting and, as she cut into it, tentacles emerged from it. Abbey attempted to flee and ran out of bullets while shooting at the tentacles, leaving her in a dire situation. Fortunately for her, CVO and Oblivion were able to seal the Elder Gods away into their realm, and so the tentacles threatening the thief dissolved into goo. Abbey was left bemused and fled the police who showed up and shot at her. Infestation 2 #2

[edit]- Abbey Chase originates in [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Danger Girl|{{#if:||Danger Girl}}]], a cheesecake comic series by [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}J. Scott Campbell|{{#if:||J. Scott Campbell}}]]. IDW held the license to Danger Girl while publishing Infestation 2, and so Abbey Chase was incorporated into the final issue.
- It is unclear if Abbey Chase exists in the same universe as CVO, or if her universe was used as a narrative device to show the Elder Gods' reach.
