Devilstars (デビルスター Debirusutā), also known as Mecha Planets (メカ惑星 Meka Wakusei), are Decepticon guardian units. These large immobile spheres release endless swarms of Kabusu drones to attack intruders, but have little else in the form of offensive abilities. Their armor is nigh-indestructible, but they have a vulnerable weak point: the glowing Kabusu release port.

- Stages: 1, 2
- Point value: 1000
A Devilstar guards the exit from the Wasteland Zone leading into the Temple Ruins. A quick Autobot can slip past the flitting, slowly-released Kabusu and blast away at the Devilstar's weak point from the side, or even from below with upward-firing vehicle-mode weaponry.
Two Devilstars (dubbed variously Double Devilstar (ダブルデビルスター Daburu Debirusutā) or Twin Planets (2連惑星 Ni Ren Wakusei)) guard the exit from the Temple Ruins leading into the first Time Tunnel. Neither one is any stronger than the first one encountered, there's just two of them. Transformers: Mystery of Convoy
Notes
[edit]- The Devilstar "sprite" (more a background element really) is also used in various stages in different colors as background planets. Quality!
- It totally has nothing to do with Death Stars. Nosireebob.
