  • V is a cult sci-fi franchise about lizard people invading Earth in the disguise of friendly Visitors. In the UK, the five episodes of V (The Original Miniseries) and V The Final Battle were broadcast by ITV on consecutive weeknights opposite the BBC's coverage of the 1984 Summer Olympics... where it became an unexpected smash hit.
