- The Thing is a human from Marvel.

The Thing says it's clobberin' time. First on the list is his Fantastic Four teammate Reed Richards for not designing him his own mech but rather reusing that of his long time rival, the Hulk.

- Thing (Marvel,
2010)
- Crossovers Thing was to have been a retool of the second Hulk mold with a new head, transforming from an orange and blue robot into a bulldozer. This toy was presented by Hasbro during San Diego Comic-Con 2009, but failed to materialize at retail.
- It's feasible that the Thing was the intended character for this mold rather than the Hulk; the robot mode is riddled with Thing-like cracks, and molded details on the figure's waist that seem to be space for a Fantastic Four logo are left flat and empty on Hulk. The head is just a straight reuse of the first Hulk, likely a cost-cutting measure due to change of character late in the design process. Since Hulk is a more popular character, Hasbro probably figured another version of Hulk would sell better than one of the Thing.
