Buildup is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
The clamps! THE CLAMPS!

Buildup is not just a skilled medic who slowly repairs his hosts' damaged parts and restores energon levels to nominal status when Powerlinxed. This Mini-Con tries to make sure his patients are as emotionally stable as their power-feed regulators are! He doesn't have any real training, per se, but he means well. Plus, he's discovered a veritable goldmine of inspiration in humanity's self-help books. His teammates on the Green Mini-Con Team are thrilled, we're sure.<ref>Official Transformers Collectors' Club site members' section, Micro-Sized Mini-Con Profiles On-Line! feature, 3/23/07</ref>
