[edit]- "Brontobot" was one of several preliminary names for the Generation 1 Dinobot, Sludge and derives from the dinosaur genus name Brontosaurus (which has undergone obsoletion and reinstatement during the lifetime of the Transformers brand). Guess Apatabot wasn't as catchy.
