• As might be discerned from this article, the jurassanoids are a Cybertronian analogue of dinosaurs. Unlike most other mechanimal designations, though, the term "jurassanoid" seems to encompass more than one physical shape, given the diversity of the Dinosaur crew's alt-modes. As it is a catch-all term, its use in regards to dinosaur-based altmodes does not specifically refer to those based only on dinosaurs native to the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Jurassic|{{#if:||Jurassic}}]] period.
