The Forged are a faction of former Decepticons shaped into a new faction by Shockwave during the war on Cybertron. They serve Shockwave loyally and consider themselves his metaphorical hammer, aiding him in "re-forging" Cybertron by capturing and brainwashing other Cybertronians, turning them into additional Forged.
