Operation: Distant Thunder (遠雷作戦 Enrai Sakusen) was an operation settled in Dinobot Island to restore the timeline, which had been altered by Ravage, by sending a drone back through time to a point prior to Ravage's tinkering, with instruction's to alert the Autobots in that timeline to Ravage's plot.
