Sharpclaw proposed using the energon keys on themselves, hoping it would energize them enough to speed up harvesting of the crystals and refitting themselves to process energon again; before they could do so, however, their fuel-starved followers began squabbling over the keys and shattered one in the process. When Sharpclaw insisted that she and her brother share the last key, their own scuffle allowed Rodimus to kick the key out of their grasp and into Shib's hands, who promptly took off aboard her steed [[Sparks (IDW)|Sparks]].
