[edit]Jessica Morgan and Gregory Swofford took the Solaris to a distant star in order to test their heat-resistant alloy. While there, they detected a ship on a collision course with a planet. Jessica detected life signs on the other ship, so they docked the Solaris with it and ventured aboard to find the badly-damaged Optimus Prime at the helm. Though Gregory was reluctant, Jessica talked him into helping her get Prime aboard the Solaris, and as the sun went nova, they high-tailed it over there. They returned to Earth in the ship, however the Solaris had picked up some strange spores from the supernova. The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1
