The Night Rescue Team is a squad of young Mini-Cons, fresh from the primary programming, eager to do their part to help the Autobot cause. They specialize in low-light recovery operations, willing to charge headlong into unknown danger to retrieve a fallen comrade.

- Sold in the first wave of Classics Mini-Con three-packs, the Night Rescue Team is a trio of roughly emergency-response-themed vehicles: Divebomb the assault helicopter (yeah, we know), Firebot the crash-response truck, and Strongarm the police car. Each one has at least one "Powerlinx" socket on their vehicle mode that allows them to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs.
- This set of molds was used to make multiple new characters over the years, though not always in the same set of three and some had more redecoes than others; see the individual toys' entries for more information on those redecoes.
