First introduced in 1982, the MOBAT is the G. I. Joe team's original main battle tank. Its considerable firepower is supplemented by an advanced electronics suite, making it a major threat to Cobra's ground forces. The primary operator is Steeler, but other Joes have served as MOBAT operators over the years.

Notes
[edit]- The MOBAT, like many G. I. Joe vehicles, is based on a real-life military vehicle. In this case, the inspiration was most likely the M60 Patton, the standard main battle tank in service with the American military at the time.
