Protect Crown City is an online flash game made available on Hasbro's website in 2015 to tie in with the Robots in Disguise cartoon.
Plot
[edit]The Decepticons are escaping! Bumblebee, Strongarm, Grimlock and Sideswipe must use the Decepticon Hunter to recapture the criminals, and secure them within their stasis pods.
Gameplay
[edit]Players can pick between the Autobots Bumblebee, Strongarm, Grimlock or Sideswipe as their character. Each one has slightly different stats, to aid them in capturing the Decepticons, such as Strongarm having the highest amount of health, and Sideswipe being the fastest. The chosen Autobot stands on the ground, and by clicking on Decepticons as they drift down from the sky, the player makes their Autobot fire a beam from the Decepticon Hunter, which encapsulates the criminals into stasis pods. The stasis pods must then be collected from the ground by clicking on them once more. If a Decepticon reaches the ground without being trapped in a stasis pod, or a stasis pod is left unattended for too long, the Decepticon flees off-screen, taking a chunk out of the Autobot's health bar. Occasionally, power-ups also drift down, and must be shot at to be acquired. At the end of each level, there is a "boss" Decepticon that requires several shots to be captured, and fires energy bolts back towards the Autobot. Capturing him ends the level.
