In Axiom Nexus, Rhinox finally shuts off the last of his observation screens as Megatron and Optimus Prime watch; with the Shroud fallen, they can no longer observe the multiverse as they once did. Optimus proclaims that with the multiverse inaccessible, the barriers between TransTech and offworlder must be brought down, something that Megatron confesses will take some getting used to. Just as Optimus reassures his old ally that they will make things work, an alert comes in: there is one final group of travellers arriving in Axiom Nexus, hailing from Primax 207.0 Epsilon... a universe that, to Rhinox's confusion, was destroyed years before. Realising that they must have arrived "the long way round", Optimus takes his fellow TransTechs to meet their new arrivals, and welcomes the stragglers — the former crew of the Graviton — to Axiom Nexus...

Continuity TransTech

The tenure of Axiom Nexus in watching the multiverse comes to an end.

Synopsis

[edit]

In Axiom Nexus, Rhinox powers down the last of the transwarp, their use now no longer viable with the Shroud's curtailing of Axiom Nexus's ability to navigate the multiverse. Rhinox supposes he'll need a new position and get out into the world, meeting the offworlders that are now here full time. Optimus Prime encourages him, telling him that now, there is no distinction between TransTech and offworlders; they are all Cybertronians. Megatron finds this a hard idea to adapt to, but Prime insists that they will; he will not allow hate and bigotry to take hold. Their conversation is interrupted when Rhinox detects one last incoming signal..from the destroyed Primax 207.0 Epsilon! Prime muses that they must have taken the long way, and leaves to welcome his fellow Cybertronians to Axiom Nexus.

Continuity notes

[edit]
 • The Shroud, which cut off the TransTech from the multiverse and separated all multiversal singularities, was caused by Nexus Prime in "Out of the One, Many".
 • Megatron was last seen heading off to the Ejoornus system in Rook - Axiom Nexus News: Investigative Journalist, attempting to open a hole in the multiverse to allow the TransTechs to once more see into the multiverse. He's since returned; posts from both Rook and Andromeda - Axiom Nexus News Reporter both noted that he succeeded, but only in opening a hole big enough for limited observation.
 • Primax 207.0 Epsilon, aka the "Classicsverse," was destroyed by the machinations of Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus in "Invasion".
 • The last survivors of the "Classicsverse" include: Grimlock's crew from the Graviton seen in "Games of Deception" (Swoop, Springer, Elita-One, Huffer, Snarl, and Tyrannitron), and the former members of the Graviton who left with Nightbeat to head out on their own, as seen in "Cheap Shots" (Nightbeat, Siren, Slag, Sludge, Muzzle, Quig (seen only as Siren's head), Lug, and Minerva). Grimlock's profile in issue #50 of the Collectors' Club Magazine noted that Grimlock had sent a signal to Azure to Slag and Sludge to gather the others and follow them to Earth. While the Graviton (alongside the Talon) were transported to the prehistoric Earth of the "Shatteredverse" in "Shattered Time" when they entered the warp that Earth was sent to, the pursuing Azure-based Autobots were transported through the multiverse, ending up on Axiom Nexus many years later.
