The Power of the Primes toyline was notable for introducing the Prime Master gimmick highlighting the titular "power of the Primes". Like the rest of the Prime Wars Trilogy, each mass-retail toy bigger than the Prime/Titan Master size class includes a small packaged card based off the character; unlike its last predecessor, which used the classic Tech Specs, the Power of the Primes toyline included one of twelve randomly packed cards for each toy, each highlighting the additional powers or personality changes that a Prime Master can impart on the character in question.

The SDCC 2018-exclusive Throne of the Primes includes a unique Thirteenth Prime card for Optimal Optimus stating "The Matrix of Leadership chooses Optimus Primal to be its next bearer. With the increased strength and wisdom bestowed upon him by the Matrix, Optimus Primal evolves to Optimal Optimus and leads Cybertron into a new era."

Predaking

Unlike the rest of the Prime Wars Trilogy, the sole Titan Class figure, Predaking, only has a single card, with all twelve Prime Masters. Rather than the effect that the Primes have on the normal cards, Predaking's card has simple titles for each, which could as easily be intended to be descriptions of the Primes themselves. Instead of the logos on the standard cards, Predaking's card has images of the Prime Masters themselves, and is in a different order.
