Ore-14 is a variety of energon. It has the power to "resurrect" Transformers and even entire cities.

[edit]Fearing an inevitable "Energon Crisis", Jhiaxus's student Shockwave planted a "seed"—a dose of self-replicating energon—in Crystal City on Cybertron. However, he was unable to see his experiment come to fruition as a battle between Monstructor and Omega Supreme destroyed the city. Nevertheless, this "seed" would later inspire Shockwave's synthetic energon Regenesis program, especially after his empurata and Shadowplay.
