[edit]Chak was a member of Homo Sapiens Circuitus, or the "circ'enhanced" branch of humanity in the 24th century. He served aboard the Spooky Action at a Distance with Una of the 'logicals and his captain, Blix, of the psychals. Their mandate was to patrol the borders of the Allowed Zone and ensure the Cybertronians remained contained from the rest of the universe. The Spooky went on yellow alert once word of Lio Convoy's uprising reached the Terran fleet. Despite the neg-spin Chak saw as the inevitability of all possible Cybertronian responses, the establishment of the Dinosaur City colony on Metascan Omega was a statistically improbable pos-outcome. Confronted directly by several of the put-upon protoformer races, Chak and Una were forced to confront their own privilege. Cultural Appropriation
Notes
[edit]- Given their recurring role, Chak and Una are the closest thing Beast Wars has to token children characters.
- Chak is named after Jack from the Legend film. This reference works in conjunction with Una being named after Oona of the same film. Many years later, Blix and Screwball were later named in reference to other characters from the film.
