- Groundshaker is an Autobot from the Legends portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Groundshaker (グランドシェイカー Gurandosheikā) is Tailgate's small partner, able to transform into a claw weapon. Fascinated by what could lie beneath, Groundshaker constantly digs into the ground, and often buries himself in the holes he has dug. Tailgate is baffled by this behavior, while Groundshaker is likewise bemused by the figurative graves that Tailgate digs himself into with his tall tales.

This changed them into Targetmasters, LG-EX Big Powered Prologue Part One and they partnered with larger Autobots, adopting the moniker "Mini-Cons" in the process. Partnered with Tailgate, Groundshaker would use his claw mode to help his partner defuse bombs. Tailgate/G1 Mini-Con Chapter During Tailgate and Swerve's battle with Trypticon in 2015, Tailgate used Groundshaker to pluck Swerve out of a hole in the ground, then revealed his weapon's true identity as a tiny robot to Rattrap in order to make the rat feel better about his own small size.
