Prion is one of the legendary thirteen Cybertronian colony worlds, founded by the eponymous Titan of Micronus Prime. Home to the Mini-Cons, it was a peaceful place until the disastrous arrival of the Black Block Consortia.

Following his revival, Sentinel Prime brought his captive audience of Optimus Prime, Soundwave, and Sovereign to the wreckage of Prion on the eponymous planet, where Sentinel used Prion's remains as a backdrop as he monologued about his plans for Optimus. Optimus and Soundwave managed to force Sentinel to flee to Luna 1 while they returned to Cybertron. White Heat
After producing a biopic about the life of Starscream, an offended Starscream arranged for Thundercracker to be tricked into visiting Prion so that he could be surreptitiously assassinated. Thundercracker managed to escape his killers and flee to Earth. Starscream: The Movie
