Transformers Tribute is a small 2017 toyline meant to be in tribute of the tenth anniversary of the first live-action film. Serving as something of a successor to Platinum Edition, Tribute consists of redecoes of existing molds. Hasbro design lead John Warden called it "an opportunity to bring fans the 2007 Optimus Prime that they might've remembered when they were kids."[1]
In the United States and Canada, the line was exclusive to Amazon. The figures were also listed on the United Kingdom and German Amazon websites, but ultimately never stocked. In Spain, meanwhile, the line was exclusive to department store chain El Corte Ingles.

Notes
[edit]- The unused 2007 preproduction Megatron head design is still in circulation even ten years later, being present in the backgrounds of the boxes for the Tribute series along with stylized versions of many other 2007 promotional stills.
