Now we'll never get the Rock Band Network DLC back...

Harmonex is known as the Singing City on Cybertron, where it serves as a center for art and learning. It holds within it lithic crystals that sing in perfect harmonic frequency.

2005 IDW continuity

[edit]

During the war on Cybertron against the Decepticons, Scorponok became responsible for unleashing the dreaded engine of destruction known as Trypticon that made its way towards Harmonex. Ultimately, as the beast approached, it was believed that the Singing City would be lost in the monster's rampage with the city's songs being forever lost to Transformer kind. After evacuating Harmonex, the Autobots lured Trypticon to the city's gigantic central structure and collapsed it on top of him, The Illusion of Control but the beast survived unscathed and continued his rampage through the ruined city. Annihilation Following Trypticon's defeat, the Conclave of Representatives forbade civilian access to the ruins of Harmonex. When the Autobots deployed a team there to check up on Trypticon, they found him missing, Megatron having revived and retrieved the monster. Primacy #1

In ancient times, the Cannibal Baron ruled an empire that stretched from his seat of power in Corumkan to as far south as Nuon and as far north as Harmonex. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/15

Of Masters and Mayhem

[edit]

Before the Great War broke out, the people of Harmonex regarded the Decepticons an as insignificant threat. The first of the city to sign up was Punch who was thrown a party the night before he shipped out. Twenty-seven solar cycles later, the city was destroyed by the Decepticons with no survivors. Punch tried to avenge his home in a maddened grief but ended up with a dead unit and a girder in his chest for his troubles.

At least, that's what Punch remembered — but according to his alter ego Counterpunch, who claimed that Punch was a false identity created to infiltrate the Autobots, Harmonex had never existed, having been invented as a backstory for the spy. After being critically injured and rebuilt with only a single robot mode and two conflicting sets of memories, Punch asked Impactor whether the Wrecker had ever been to Harmonex; an uncertain Impactor believed that he had, but that he had never met anyone else who had been to Harmonex before. The Truth We Make

Beast Wars: Uprising

[edit]

Harmonex bordered the Rust Sea. During the Grand Uprising, the city fell to the Resistance. Safe Spaces

King Grimlock

[edit]

When Harmonex was besieged by rogue Mecannibals, Optimus Prime and the Dinobots came to its defence, the latter continuing the attack even after the invaders had surrendered. As Optimus and Grimlock argued about methodology, the Dinobot leader was swallowed up by a magic spell and brought to the land of Menonia. Grimlock the Rebel After that mess was sorted, Grimlock was returned to Harmonex, only seconds after he'd left from Cybertron's perspective, and admitted to Optimus that he'd gained a new appreciation for the Prime's way of doing things. Grimlock the Triumphant
