Robot Enhanced Design, abbreviated and stylized as R.E.D., is a line of six-inch scale non-transforming action figures of Transformers characters from across different franchises and continuities. It is intended to be a counterpart to the similar Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series lines. The line appears to be devoted to Show-accuracy from these assorted franchises. To achieve this, figures include extra hands and accessories for display options.

The name or term "Red" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Red (disambiguation).
Stronger, Faster, and Alive once more!

Transformers R.E.D., stylized as R.E.D. [Robot Enhanced Design], is a subline of the Generations franchise featuring six-inch scale non-transforming action figures of Transformers characters from across different franchises and continuities. Aesthetically, the line trends towards show-accuracy in its sculpts, though it's not uncommon for extra sculpted details not on the show models to pop up on some of the simpler designs. Each figure comes with multiple accessories and extra hands for more display options.

The line is intended to be a counterpart to Hasbro's other 6-inch action figure lines, including Marvel Legends, Star Wars: Black Series, and Power Rangers: Lightning Collection.

The toyline is a Walmart exclusive in the US and Canada; they were later made available on Hasbro Pulse in limited quantities.

Notes

[edit]
 • Beginning with the seventh wave, the packaging design for R.E.D. was changed as part of Hasbro's new environmental policies, removing the plastic window in favour of a closed cardboard front featuring each character's packaging art. The front-right side of each box, which used to include a window showing the toy's accessories, now features a simulation of the window printed directly onto the packaging.
