After a run-in with Trypticon had crippled the Enterprise, Uhura broadcasted a distress signal to no avail before she picked up a transmission from Captain Kirk aboard a duplicate of the Enterprise. After the Autobots had been beamed aboard, Uhura questioned whether or not Kirk was returning to the ship. Prime's Directive, Part Four
