2019 IDW continuity

[edit]

With the societal events moving quickly for the Ascenticons, Rise leader Shockwave suddenly assigned a field team led by Slipstream to escort the cityspeaker Skystalker to a lightly-guarded nearly-forgotten Titan Net subsidiary post. While traveling aboard Astrotrain, Flamewar dubbed the newly formed squad "Team Stream", envisioning grand achievement exceeding that of Strika's Heavies from the previous war. Hyperdrive thought the name was ridiculous while Blackjack refused to intervene.

Quietly arriving at their destination, Tracer bisected one guard, followed up by four of his comrades shooting the head off another guard, with remaining sentry Headrush soon dispatched by Hyperdrive. Subsequently, Blackjack used the hub's apparatus to transmit a data-bomb into the minds of sleeping Titans in orbit. Concurrently, Skystalker connected himself to awaken Vigilem on a course for the Tether. The Change In Your Nature Part Four With their mission complete, Team Stream skedaddled before Security Operations could arrive, though Astrotrain expressed disappointment at not participating in any combat. The Change In Your Nature Part Five

Now with 300% more Seekers!

After the fall of the Tether, Team Stream was joined by Hotlink and Sunstorm, causing Flamewar to rebrand them Team Stream "Mark Two", as they went to seize the Winged Moon and its supply of energon. Wheeljack: Orbital Decay Team Stream were unable to breach the Autobots' defenses around the moon's control center before back-up arrived from Colonial Security. The Autobots trapped inside the control center ultimately destroyed the moon's energon storage to keep it out of the Rise's hands. With no prize left to fight for, Team Stream abandoned the moon. Moon

After the Senate fell and the rise of the Decepticons, many members of the Rise came out of hiding to join the Decepticon Guard as official enforcers. However, Team Stream remained headquartered at Shockwave's remote Rise base. Test Flight I When the infamous Skywarp arrived, looking for Shockwave, Team Stream confronted him at their doorstep. Skywarp didn't respond well to Team Stream's threats and he left after Shockwave dismissed his help. Sea of Rust II

Team Stream were next sent as part of an ambush to capture Optimus Prime after he and his Prime Guard went to visit Codexa. They managed to hold up and disarm the Prime Guard, but Ultra Magnus' unexpected arrival threw Team Stream into disarray. Optimus Prime escaped, but they managed to defeat and capture Ultra Magnus. Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part One They brought the bound Magnus to Decepticon-controlled Iacon and presented him to Megatron. Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Two

When Megatron was convinced that Exarchon had returned, he ordered Sixshot and Team Stream to the Sonic Canyons. As the group made for the Canyons, Slipstream tried to confirm their orders with Shockwave only to be told to stand down, an order that Blackjack and Tracer defied. War's End Part Two The arrival of Devastator broke up the fighting in the Canyons, the Autobots and Decepticons retreated. As Sixshot and Pyra Magna began drawing up a battle plan, Blackjack approached them with his fear that Team Stream had gone rogue, just as the rest of his team was pledging loyalty to the Threefold Spark. War's End Part Three The team quickly changed their minds when an angry Exarchon began eyeing them as potential bodies, promptly fleeing the Canyons. Regrouping with Blackjack, the team joined in the next assault on Exarchon and the Combaticons, retreating with Sixshot's squad when the battle was won. War's End Part Four

Team Stream next escorted the Constructicons to Darkmount, where they took part in the massive battle to prevent the Autobots from leaving the planet. After Computron made a last stand to buy time for his comrades to escape, Team Stream and the entire Decepticon army fired on him and managed to defeat the Autobot combiner. The Autobots managed to blast off of Cybertron and in the aftermath, Team Stream helped take Computron's weakened components prisoner. Fate of Cybertron
