Several episodes have moments where dialogue in the Energon version of the cartoon was either poorly translated or made up on the fly without proper translations. To help alleviate some of the confusion and to accurately convey what is actually happening on-screen contrary to the what the English dub's dialogue says, some of our episode summaries have minor key moments or details from Super Link inserted into them (with a note at the top of the "Synopsis" section to let you know which ones), to paint a better picture of what's really going on, as some of these missing pieces of dialogue from the English dub are alluded to in future episodes, despite them "never happening".

*Barricade, Brawl and Bonecrusher start following them on the highway.
* As the opening paragraph of this article states, the Starscream of the Unicron Trilogy cartoons has probably had one of the most unique storylines given to any character in the entirety of the Transformers mythos. Here is a very brief rundown of his character development, undevelopment, and redevelopment throughout the entirety of all three cartoons.
*Bonecrusher starts moving cars out of his way.
** In Armada, Starscream starts out as a very young and brash warrior, trying to prove himself to Megatron, which would often lead to him getting into conflict with his Decepticon peers. Throughout the first several episodes, he spends his time constantly being shot down by his "comrades" every time he tries to prove himself, and is constantly pulled away from getting close to having his own Mini-Con partner—a dream he has longed for, especially after all of his comrades already had their own. When finally gaining his partner, Swindle, he becomes a little egotistical, and overly combative towards his peers—who still don't like him—as well as his enemies. When gaining the Star Saber, Starscream's obnoxious and combative behaviour leads to his teammates turning on him, leaving him alone in the middle of nowhere on Earth as an inside joke between themselves. Having had enough of his treatment by his "fellow" Decepticons, he steals the Star Saber, and eventually finds himself teaming up with the Autobots. Lost, confused, and vengeful, Starscream—for once in his life—has to find his own path. He forms bonds with the human children, specifically Alexis Thi Dang. He learns that Mini-Cons have feelings and shouldn't be used as slaves. He learns what true leadership is through Optimus Prime, and what being a real team is all about through the other Autobots. Then, just when it felt like he was starting to turn a new leaf, temptation and revenge gets the better of him through the sweet whispers of the treacherous Decepticon, Thrust (who, unbeknownst to anyone, had sided with the mysterious Unicron). Betraying the Autobots, and rejoining the ranks of the Decepticons under the guise of one day getting the opportunity to kill Megatron, he eventually learns of a great truth—the very real threat of Unicron, whom Megatron (now going by the name Galvatron) believes to be an Autobot hoax. When the Autobots appear to be getting nowhere with convincing Galvatron that they need to join forces to stop Unicron, Starscream steps into the middle of a fight between Galvatron and Optimus Prime to prove a point. Using every last ounce of his power, he sacrifices himself in an attempt to prove Unicron's existence to Galvatron, seemingly knowing Unicron would retaliate against the blast. Galvatron and Optimus Prime then set aside their differences temporarily to stop the looming threat of Unicron, in honor of Starscream's heroic sacrifice.
*Optimus forces Barricade off the highway and up the ramp.
** Fast forward ten years into the future with Energon, Alpha Q—having discovered the power of Unicron and the way to revive all that have been consumed or destroyed at his hand—rebuilds Starscream into a new body to use as a spy and a mercenary, against the Autobots and the Decepticons. However, during the rebuilding process, Alpha Q runs out of energon, resulting in Starscream only being partially rebuilt, while also leaving him without any of the memories of his past life. Alpha Q promises to one day finish rebuilding Starscream, and sends him away to do his bidding. Using his new ghostly invisibility and phasing abilities (a side effect of his partial rebuilding), he becomes a pretty useful spy. When the reborn Megatron discovers him spying one day, he tortures him and wipes his current memories, taking control of the unfinished Starscream, making him a seemingly mindless drone. Doing everything Megatron asks, he unwittingly risks his life on countless occasions, such as the time Megatron told him to enter into the Super Energon pool, to see if it would either kill him or upgrade him. Eventually, Megatron (going by Galvatron once again)—combined with Unicron, goes completely nuts and power-hungry, and absorbs Starscream to become the ultimate evil in the universe. When they're stopped by the Autobots, what was left of Galvatron, Unicron and Starscream gets swallowed into a new sun for the planets in Alpha Q's universe.
*Bonecrusher attacks Optimus and they fight.
** Another ten years later in Cybertron, the sun that Starscream, Unicron and Megatron formed implodes, and becomes a giant black hole that threatens the entire universe and several other realities. Freed from their prison, Megatron, Starscream and Unicron are all reborn! Having lost his physical and mental restraints from Megatron's previous form that stopped him from being an individual, and becoming a product of what Megatron made him, Starscream becomes a power-hungry traitor, that wants nothing more than to be the leader of the Decepticons, and to be the eventual ruler of the universe. Obviously he doesn't get this far, but he does become pretty powerful along his journey, and even gets into hand-to-hand combat with Primus at one point!
*The Autobots make it to Mission City where they prepare for battle.
: So there you have it, the Tl;dr of Starscream's journey that is recounted further up in this article. While the three cartoons don't always line up entirely due to dubbing issues, and the disconnecting and reconnecting of continuity between Energon and Cybertron (due to the way the production of Galaxy Force was handled by Takara in Japan), Starscream's character arc is pretty consistent overall—even with Energons habit of wiping every characters' mind in some way for seemingly no reason—his eventual turn out in Cybertron works, since he basically becomes a product of what Megatron made him.
*Starscream arrives circling the city. Bumblebee and Ironhide make the attempt to stop him. While Jazz and Ratchet fall back with the soldiers.
*Starscream fires on the group, injuring Bumblebee.
*Just as everyone is recovering, Brawl rolls in and starts firing on them.
*Jazz, Ratchet and Ironhide speed towards Brawl.
**Somewhere at this point Optimus would've finished off Bonecrusher.
**Meanwhile, Sam is given the AllSpark by Bumblebee. And Mikaela is hotwiring the tow truck.
*All the Autobots and soldiers are fighting Brawl.
*Megatron arrives.
*Megatron and fires at Jazz, knocking him to the ground. He picks him up and flies him to the top of a building where he kills him.
**Meanwhile, Mikaela and Sam start strapping Bumblebee to the tow truck. Lennox comes over and gives Sam orders.
*Megatron, gives the Decepticon’s orders to attack.
*Blackout arrives and swoops in attacking Sam. Ironhide and Ratchet protect him. Blackout knocks Ironhide down and then flies off.
** Mikaela has finished strapping up Bumblebee. Brawl fires at Mikaela as she tows Bumblebee away.
**At the very same time, Optimus has made his way into the city where he confronts Megatron.
*Megatron throws Jazz’s corpse aside and flies into Optimus, taking him to another part of the city.
*Optimus gets blown into a building.
**While Optimus is down, in the other part of the city, Starscream and Blackout chase Sam while Ironhide and Ratchet continue to defend him.
**Starscream wounds Ironhide and Ratchet and then pulls back.
*Megatron flies back to Sam’s location and chases him. Sam falls creating the AllSpark Mutations.
**Meanwhile, Bumblebee and the soldiers kill Brawl.
*Megatron follows Sam to the top of the building, where Blackout and Starscream arrive to watch from afar.
**Optimus makes his way to Sam as Megatron smashes the corner of the building, sending Sam to his doom. Optimus catches him.
*Megatron dives after them.
*Optimus and Megatron fight.
**Blackout sneaks up behind Optimus and gets attacked by the soldiers.
**Starscream delays the F-22 air strike. And possibly joins them in disguise.
**Lennox and the soldiers kill Blackout.
*The F-22’s fire on Megatron.
*Sam pushes the cube into Megatron's chest.
*The Autobots regroup and Ironhide arrives carrying Jazz’s corpse.

This is a note that'll be implemented onto the Energon cartoon page once I get around to finishing off adjusting the episode summaries at some point in the future.

Armada Starscream Tl;dr

[edit]
  • As the opening paragraph of this article states, the Starscream of the Unicron Trilogy cartoons has probably had one of the most unique storylines given to any character in the entirety of the Transformers mythos. Here is a very brief rundown of his character development, undevelopment, and redevelopment throughout the entirety of all three cartoons.
    • In Armada, Starscream starts out as a very young and brash warrior, trying to prove himself to Megatron, which would often lead to him getting into conflict with his Decepticon peers.
    • Fast forward ten years into the future with Energon, Alpha Q—having discovered the power of Unicron and the way to revive all that have been consumed or destroyed at his hand—rebuilds Starscream into a new body to use as a spy and a mercenary, against the Autobots and the Decepticons.
    • Another ten years later in Cybertron, the sun that Starscream, Unicron and Megatron formed implodes, and becomes a giant black hole that threatens the entire universe and several other realities.
So there you have it, the Tl;dr of Starscream's journey that is recounted further up in this article. While the three cartoons don't always line up entirely due to dubbing issues, and the disconnecting and reconnecting of continuity between Energon and Cybertron (due to the way the production of Galaxy Force was handled by Takara in Japan), Starscream's character arc is pretty consistent overall—even with Energon's habit of wiping every characters' mind in some way for seemingly no reason—his eventual turn out in Cybertron works, since he basically becomes a product of what Megatron made him.
