Cyberverse

[edit]
  • Grimlock / Trash Crash (Elite Class, 2019)
  • TakaraTomy name: Dump Dino Grimlock
  • TakaraTomy release date: November 9, 2019
  • TakaraTomy ID number: TCV-22
  • Accessories: "Trash Crash" Spark Armor
Released in the second wave of Cyberverse Elite Class "Spark Armor" toys (and the only new product in said wave), the Trash Crash is a deluxe-sized garbage truck with a dumpster permanently affixed to its front loaders and hoisted above the trash hopper. The truck automatically transforms into armor when pegged into a compatible figure's back. Unlike the rest of the Elite Class, the armor does not lock into place or clip onto the chest of the robot, meaning that it is prone to popping back into garbage truck mode. The dumpster forms fist-mounted claws in armor mode.
This version of the Trash Crash was only available packed in with Grimlock.
In November 2019, Grimlock was released as one of TakaraTomy Mall's Cyberverse "Christmas Set" offers along with Megatron.

Buzzworthy Bumblebee

[edit]
Now in heuuurgghhhh yellow!
  • Bumblebee / Trash Crash (Elite Class, 2021)
  • Series: Cyberverse
  • Accessories: "Trash Crash" Spark Armor
This version of Trash Crash was released in the cross-series Buzzworthy Bumblebee subline, now included with the Elite Class Bumblebee figure (with no notable changes) instead of Grimlock. This time, Trash Crash is decoed in recycling truck livery, which makes it look quite a bit like Rescue Bots Salvage.
This is the only Elite Class Spark Armor to not have a unique helmet sculpt, being a straight redeco of the original version.
This set, like all Buzzworthy Bumblebee product, was a Target exclusive in the US.

Notes

[edit]
  • The McDonald's promotional toy of Grimlock comes with an armor accessory based on the Trash Crash.
