The Adaptable Interconnection Retrofitter Lock System, or the A.I.R. Lock System for short, is a type of modular platforms, ramps, and more that can be connected together to form bases and battle scenes. The system is used by the Transformers during their search for the Allspark on Earth to create bases for themselves.
Exemplified by the system are Modulators—sentient Cybertronians who form bases for their comrades.

Figures under the Earthrise A.I.R. Lock System have multiple points that allow the creation of bases and battlefields, in both official and unofficial ways. There are various ways the A.I.R. Lock System is incorporated into the figures such as Battle Masters transforming into platforms, alt modes allowing the connection of ramps, and figures that come with bases. Battle Masters also come with "Fire Blast" effect parts, returning from the Siege toyline, used to simulate various effects such as "impact shots". Deluxe Weaponizers make a return with a new name: Modulators, transforming into various bases for Micromasters to stay in instead of weapons for various Transformers.

Notes
[edit]- The A.I.R. Lock System is incompatible with previous systems of linking base modes such as Generation 1 Micromasters or Titans Return.
- However, Siege Omega Supreme and his redeco Generations Selects Guardian Robot have both Titans Return and A.I.R. Lock-compatible connectors, enabling them to bridge the toylines. Distinctly, they are the only figures with this characteristic.
