NAVI-Q is a Predacon drone from the Generation 1 continuity family.

NAVI-Q, which is short for Navigational Questor, is a Predacon artificial intelligence drone tasked with keeping the Predacon Air Warrior Skywasp in line.

Skywasp was partnered with the AI NAVI-Q to keep him in line, but being brought along while teleporting has scrambled her circuits and made her a willing participant in his pranks. She emits a drone tone that can confuse targets, making them more susceptible to Skywasp's pranks.

NAVI-Q was repurposed from Ripper.
Timelines Ripper is a blue and gray redeco of the Generations Waspinator sculpt that originally came with the Legends Class Starscream mold. Ripper can transform into a wasp, a Waruder pilot with 3mm-compatible hands, and a gun with 5 mm handle. He has an autotransformation feature that folds up his wings when his gun barrel is extended.
Ripper was available in a four-pack at BotCon 2015 that included the four Waruder mechs (Paralyzer, Parasite, Storm Rider, and Mudfighter) as well as the three other Waruder troops (Buzzer, Thrasher, and Crusher).

Notes

[edit]
  • Skywasp's bio, officially repurposing him and Navi-Q from the Waruder Parasite and Ripper toys, was shown in a post on the Transformers Collectors' Club Twitter account on their final day of operation.[1]
  • NAVI-Q's name takes inspiration from the NAVI AI series and the Questors. Her bug form in particular references DNAVI, the one NAVI with a bug form prior to NAVI-Q.
