Well, only Waspinator's weapon is stated "laser". Maybe we should added something like "Optic laser is a generic name for the beam shoot out from Transformers' eyes." in the article? --TX55 11:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

:Like I said above, I would favor moving this article to a more generic name instead, and not calling every occurrence of eye beams "lasers." --KilMichaelMcC 11:18, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm thinking this article might be better off as "eye beams" or something to that effect. Not every beam weapon is a laser. --KilMichaelMcC 20:32, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Just wanted to reiterated the above. How many of the examples given are actually identified as "optic lasers"? --KilMichaelMcC 09:02, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

I just found that several "optic weapons" shoot from Transformers' eyes used in Beast Wars cartoon from the guidebook.

User Eye Weapon
Dinobot Cybertronic beam (Energy ray) Code of Hero
Waspinator Eye-lasers Beast Wars (Part 1)
Terrorsaur Heat beam A Better Mousetrap[1]
Dinobot II Proton beam Feral Scream Part 1

Well, only Waspinator's weapon is stated "laser". Maybe we should added something like "Optic laser is a generic name for the beam shoot out from Transformers' eyes." in the article? --TX55 11:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Like I said above, I would favor moving this article to a more generic name instead, and not calling every occurrence of eye beams "lasers." --KilMichaelMcC 11:18, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Optic lasers were the only energy weapon that the Predacon turned Maximal Dinobot allowed himself to possess, as his code of honor had an emphasis on persoal combat. Where the hell is that from? He had no problem carrying that giant rifle in COTP... -hx 15:26, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

And he swiped one of Rattrap's guns in Code of Hero, too. - RolonBolon 02:20, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
