What's this? Yes, it's that dastardly '''Blackcat''', ready to plague us with another of his criminal conundrums! Perhaps some day Batbot will solve the greatest of all Blackcat's puzzles: why is he called "Blackcat" when he's green and purple?

This article is about the evil Recordabot from Shattered Glass. For the heroic Autobot from Generation 1, see Blackcat (G1).
Blackcat is an evil Autobot Mini-Cassette from the Shattered Glass continuity family.
Admit it, you read the entire first paragraph in William Dozier's voice.

What's this? Yes, it's that dastardly Blackcat, ready to plague us with another of his criminal conundrums! There's nothing this Autobot antagonist enjoys more than stumping the costumed crimefighter Batbot with another of his pugnacious puzzles. Perhaps some day Batbot will solve the greatest of all Blackcat's puzzles: why is he called "Blackcat" when he's green and purple?

You couldn't solve my puzzles Batbot, so now you'll boil!Blackcat taunts the captured Batbot, "Recordicons #15"

Recordicons

[edit]

Blackcat was being held at Garrus-9, but escaped and began plaguing Commissioner Garboil and his men by leaving more puzzles for them to solve. Garboil had no choice but to put the city on full alert and call in Batbot to help. Recordicons #5 After Batbot failed to solve Blackcat's riddles, he suspended the crime fighter over a vat of boiling liquid. He was foiled moments later by Slugfest, despite the fact that, y'know, it was just Slugfest. Recordicons #15

Notes

[edit]
  • As Ratbat is an homage to Batman, so Blackcat is to the Riddler, reflecting the original Blackcat's association with a puzzle.[1]
