Bolt-bats are a form of wildlife native to both Cybertron and Nebulos. They presumably are easily shocked and amazed by new sights.

The Headmasters cartoon
[edit]While traversing the tunnels to place a bomb at Vector Sigma, Mindwipe was attacked by a swarm of giant bolt-bats. Mindwipe pleaded with them to stop attacking a fellow bat to little effect and fell down a flight of stairs to escape the animals. Cybertron Is in Grave Danger, Part 2
